Surprise is a good thing in poetry. The lines, “to be a tommy texter,/
or talk 24/7 on the phone,” surprised me. Alliteration on the t’s is nice; learning a new term about texting is a bonus. I like the numbers there on the line, too. Certainly, the lines represent a modern view, one much needed if poetry is to survive.

I love when you can evoke feeling in a poem. Something everyone can relate to. The lines, "An extraordinary feeling to remember a first love the first kiss from the one you love" speak to me. Unless you have never experienced love before, everyone knows what it feels like to kiss your very first love for the first time. It's a special and amazing feeling.

The lines, “catch falling snowflakes with your tongue, dance in snow;” caught my attention. This lines brings me two different feelings: happiness recalling my childhood’s playing in snow is the one of them and the other is sadness because I don’t play in snow anymore keeping myself from catching a cold. First of all, the lines show lovely images.

A kiss is an act of affection and adoration a person shares with another. The lines “and to erase the traces of years with a kiss;” remind me that, kissing is an essential part to have a healthy and vibrant relationship. Within a single kiss, the world seems to stop and all that is around fades away. Some say that, “a picture is worth a thousand words, but a good kiss needs none.”

Poetry accentuates life’s beauty and describes our surroundings. The line, “to see a rainbow after rain, the color high and low rises on hope,” reminds me of how life is colorful and encourages me to always seek hope and peace. This quote reminds us that life is filled with good and bad moments.

"the vow you said
while family and friends shared a tear" touches me.That verses remind me of the moving promises we make sometimes to our self for or to sufferings family member we wish to protect for ever.I find the images powerful and particularly alive in its expression .
I was amazed when I read the lines "and if only once to open a closed door, end up surprised by one discovery after another". Yes, life is full of unknowns and surprises. No one can tell you what will happen next. You have to open the door and experience the things behind it on your own. But, isn’t it wonderful to explore the uncertainties of life?

It is heartbroken to “see the world pass you by.” Whether it’s true or not, it makes me review around myself what I look forward to. Reminding is good; poetry can do that. The line catches me although I believe I’m the world, and this is a significant sign that I’m getting older really.

Poems and poetry are made to express feelings and give the reader a prospective view. Building a warm and colorful image is important in a poem. The words “to create happiness, giving hopes” are something that we all should possess in our life. Only then, human can create a happy world and live with hope.

I liked the lines “and if only once to get yourself drunk, end up left with nothing or anything,” as I have experienced this many times when I was younger. To hear something like this in a poem it is truly amazing, I never thought I would hear something like it. To hear it in a poem, it does not sound as bad, as doing it.

Imagery is very effective in poetry. The lines, “to be a horse, / or sit inside of carriage;” brings me to the environment. It helps me to better understand that I can whether be the one who makes effort to walk on his own path or be the one who is powerless and follows others. Apparently, these lines have a deep insight of life.

Poetry is beautiful and describes the inner feelings. The line “To seek the best inspiration in the life” catches my attention because life gives us many lessons and we have to take the best advice from our life, we need to let our life thoughts unfold itself and go with the first instinct. At the end of the day the best inspiration comes from within.

“if only once to Stop for a moment, and see the world pass you by” Time is passing so fast that we can’t feel it. We will relies how much time we have west not doing what we want or keeping postponing it only when we don’t have time to do it.

When I hear "a stubborn girl with all her innocent smiles," I can picture a stubborn ME with an innocent smile, because my mom used to say this to me all the time. I did not like to listen anyone's opinion, even though I was wrong. I always indicated my disagreement with an innocent smile.

To imagine the real sense behind the wordings is interesting in poetry. The lines,"to jump into icy ocean, rest your body on the sand,” produce a powerful and detailed image in my mind. It gives me a picture of being freeze and evokes shivering. It reminds me how life is unfriendly, but we need to refresh our strength to deal with it.

I like the lines, “to be an oyster, / or create its beautiful pearls.” When an oyster is stimulated by a piece of sand, it secretes nacre to surround the intruder, and finally forms a pearl. That means a beautiful pearl is created after the oyster’s suffering and hard working. No pain, no gain. It is how things go.

“Erase the traces of years with a kiss” It’s short and has profound meaning. No matter how far or how long someone stay away from her/his lover, but love will always keep them together and erases all the distance. A kiss or hug with passion from a lover is like a magic; it turns everything so beautiful.

Jessica's “to be an angel,or fly with the bird”shows me a vivid picture of a beautiful angel and a mediocre bird. Most of us admire the one who is outstanding, but it is really hard to become“an angel”when you are “a bird”flying in the real world.
The line “and to keep on believing in many liars” struck me with its brief but deep stature. It is so wide open to different images, but at the same time, it is very concise with its intention. It shows a taste of humanity, showing hope yet disappointment, one that isn’t faultless, nor completely flawed.

Here comes the beauty of poetry which brings you feelings and meaning words usage. This was one of my favourite lines, “To fall flat on your face, thinking twice and again, stay focused”. Reading poetry is like solving a puzzle. When I read the first part of this stanza “To fall flat on your face” I picture and feel the pain (ouch!), but then when you keep on reading the rest of it, it gives me a completely different image. It gives me picture of a strong person who doesn’t give up when he fails, but he thinks and tries again to succeed.
My favourite scene in the movie “Wag the Dog” was the beginning of the movie where the whole crew is at the conference. The scene was shown also at the ending, but the difference was that the room was empty. Also, there were great performances especially by Robert De Niro. I was inspired by watching “Wag the Dog”. However, I believe that “Wag the Dog” paints a negative picture of American Politics.
After being caught in a scandalous situation days before the election, the president does not seem to have much of a chance of being re-elected. One of his advisers contacts a top Hollywood producer in order to manufacture a war in Albania that the president can heroically end, all through mass media
A couple of weeks earlier before election night, the President of the United States was accused of dallying with an underage girl in a room behind the Oval Office. To distract the nation's attention, Conrad Brean (Robert De Niro), the President's spin-control expert, calls in an experienced Hollywood producer named Stanley Motss (Dustin Hoffman), and the two ended up working together on the final political-advertising project. Using mass media as their stage, they create, through a complicated series of technological tricks a ''war'' between the U.S. and Albania and proceed to sell it to the voters as a heart-thrilling historical moment. There is a lost American hero, and ''We Are the World''-style theme song. There's an imaginary news reel image of a girl dashing through her burning and wiped out village. It all looks and feels real; yet none of it is. The war is fake; the news reporting is an act. The lesson is what we see sometimes, is not reality and what they tell us, and even if it is true may not be the whole Truth.
