Here I Am:
Love being hooked by a wife’s sly glance, chatting with friends about inequities of the world order, strolling aimlessly the streets of downtown Vancouver, listening to indie rock at full volume (when I am alone at home), the feeling you get when nothing bad has happened.
Loved trusting people, but life taught me a lesson. Loved drinking, but switch to coffee and black tea.
Look at life as a grueling race; rush to a gleam of light at the very end of a long tunnel.

Love walking, wind in my face, down rainy winter sidewalks, stirring steaming soup pots on the stove, reading a new story beside a lake at sunset, kissing both cheeks (women’s and men’s) like the Italians do, the feeling you get when your pie turns out perfect.
Loved the hubbub of a small house filled with children, but now my nest is empty. Loved to ski the loop trail up at Cypress, but gave my skis away long ago.
Look at life as a tree standing a thousand years in the coastal forest; in fifteen minutes a logger can lay it down.

Love playing my electronic drums, driving a lengthy road trip with my family, walking on white sand beaches with friends (sadly only in tropical countries), forward-looking into my life goals and ambition, the feeling you get when the reality appears to be direct.
Loved visiting my aunt’s house when I was younger, but now life turned out to be busier. Loved spending lots of free time with old friends, but now several has left to pursue their career and education.
Looking life indeed short, but great opportunity here and there, while it’s always present and appears with you, grab it.

Love singing to Rihanna when the girls go karaoke, having sleep overs at a friends house, preparing for a date (but planning how to escape later), watching my growing bank account, the feeling you get when you buy something new.
Loved playing piano, but have no patience to actually learn how to play. Loved working out when I was younger, but got busy and now I‘m lazy.
Look at life as a fine expensive wine; it only gets better as it ages with time.

Love taking a hot shower after work , staying up late watching Tv , relaxing on my bed, drinking a cup of tea before bed , watching the Canucks game with my friends , cooking cassava leaf in the weekend , chatting with friends on facebook ( with a glass of wine ) , the feeling you get when having a key to a new car .
Loved clubbing with my friends , but we all grew up and went on our separate ways . Loved watching soccer , but decided to focus on hockey .
Look at life as a sleeping bed ; the way you make your bed so you will lay on it .

Love having a coffee at the break of day, walking on the beach holding a love one’s hand, peaking at the sun through the trees, gathering knowledge by others experiences, kissing my baby’s hand (but she always pinches me), the feeling you get when you meet your family after a long tired day.
Loved shopping with mom when I was in my home country, but now we are far away from each other. Loved rain, but here it rains a lot, so now I like sunshine.
Look at life as a rose; to touch its silky petals don’t be afraid of thorns.

Love looking at snow‐covered Mount Baker from my apartment, listening to the CBC radio news in the morning, going to the Pearson Adult Learning Centre to learn new knowledge (although with a very tight study schedule), running in silent Moody Park at night, the feeling you get when you understand you still have so much to learn.
Loved my mother’s homemade food, but now we can only talk by international long‐distance calls. Loved my naval family elementary school, but which has now been long abandoned.

Love watching Vancouver Canucks Games as they win their way to Stanley cup final, playing ice hockey in the Burnaby Minor team to the playoff final to take the banner, Going to the fitness club to get back in shape, playing sport games on playstation3 (like NHL 2012, and FIFA2012), the excitement you get when I go to the Rogers Arena to see my favorite heroes.
Loved the winter season, but I cannot stand the cold as a grownup. Loved watching science fiction movies, but I find them boring and now prefer watching action movies.
Look at life as a championship; it gets harder as you survive each round to victory.

Love gazing at the bright stars in the sky, laughing uncontrollably with friends on a clear summer day, visiting my family back home (but I used to dislike the long flights), walking barefoot on white sandy beaches, the feeling you get when you realize what matters most in life.
Loved being around with my parents, but have to sacrifice and fulfill my dreams. Loved shopping, but started to be more practical for a change.
Look at life as a painting; it’s abstract, yet full of mystery, expression, and meaning.

Love blocking forwards as a defender when I play soccer, solving soodokoo every morning thats on the back of newspapers, getting up late every morning (but I have to wake up early every wedwnsday and friday untill June), falling asleep after eating food right away, the feeling you get when you feel that you are alive.

Love loud music while driving to
work with the windows down. I love to spend my weekends with my two sisters. Nature makes me alive, and that I’m in a different world. Sitting by the water, painting relaxes me. The new moon is like a new real hope to forget yesterday, and think about today.
