Here I Am

Love smelling freshly turned earth in my garden, trimming the tangled grapevine beside my porch, jumping inside my yard waste container (without falling over!) to fit in more bits of old debris, listening to birds singing in the trees all around me, the feeling you get when spring is finally in the air.

Loved having a greenhouse in my back yard, but it fell down long ago. Loved pruning my cherry tree, but am too old to risk climbing it now.

Look at life as an endless river; know that I am the result of all who've come before me.

Here I Am

Love feeling of fingers touching a tablet PC (Personal Computer) lying down on the bed, playing games to beat the best score against friends, posting my feelings on world wide web pages, reading almost anything on this one screen, the feeling you get when you purchase this device in life.

Loved hanging out with friends outside, but the electronic devices brought friends inside.
Loved writing a letter like an analog style, but text messages have taken away the taste of analogs.

Look at life as a cell phone battery; a hundred percent mark on an exam gives comfort.

Here I Am

love talking to some homeless people who walk around outside of the Metrotown, drinking with my cousin and sharing the perspective of life, driving to somewhere I have never been, seeking out some palatable food in town with my girlfriend, the feeling you get when you are always aware of something new.

Loved playing World of Warcraft with friends here, but I need to move on for the real life.
Loved modifying my car, but don’t want to start here until I get a stable income.

Look at life as a root in soil, I always find something nourishing when expending the rhizome.

Here I am

Love buying food after my stressful work, preparing a health meal for my family, watching the “Life of Pi” at the Landmark Theater (after dinner), the feeling you get when the peach blossoms in the spring.

Loved spending money on my dresses, but I rather spending on health supplement, loved partying with friends, but I cuddle with my mother instead.

Look at life as a red envelope; what surprises will show up.

Here I Am

Love strolling in my community in the cherry-blossom blooming season, swimming in the pool and seeing my son passes me, making the dumplings on Chinese New Year’s Eve, meeting my neighbourhood in the lobby while she told me she has been over ninety years old, the feeling you get when you were still in the childhood.

Loved living around with my parents, but have to contact by long-distance.
Loved being a bird in sky, but found I can’t fly higher anyway.

Look at life as the starlit sky; it fills with the dazzling temptations but has no answer forever.

Love travelling with my friends to Langkawi Island (an island in Malaysia) during the holiday, lying on the sandy ground with a sober soul, enjoying the rhyme of sea waves under a moonlit night, sharing our happiness and sadness together while looking at those shinning and blinking stars, the feeling you get when you find true friends.

Loved camping with scouts in the jungle, but we are far apart. Loved jogging at the evening, but the Vancouver’s weather changed my routine.

love conceptualizing my goals toward the future, running as fast as possible in the snow on the Sixth avenue (from Columbia to Sixth street) under the bright street lights, taking notes in the first page of every new blank paper, unlocking the spell of any difficulties in my way of life, the feeling you get when you reach to the unwanted age.

loved taking risk, but the average of the success lowered by fraudulent people.

vault, talking with my dear friends heart-to-heart, reading an interesting book beside a bright window

Love reading fairy tales with my daughters every single night, learning to cook world- wide foods (healthy and delicious) for kids, taking them to water parks in the summer, travelling to new places with my family, the feeling you get when you see their happy faces.

Loved walking and talking with my father, but now he is too sick to say more.
Loved pursuing my career goal, but I’m now just a housewife as my mother before.

Love waking up summer mornings to birds singing, going to the beach with my family, jumping off rocks into ice cold water(only on really hot days), hearing old family stories, and telling new ones. The feeling you get when you realize it’s time to go home and sleep.

Loved dancing center stage, but knees got to weak.
Loved hanging out with high school friends, but soon after we went our separate ways.

Look at life as a soccer ball; you’ll have your ups and downs but soon enough you’ll find your way to make it towards the goal.

Love making butter chicken for the family on my day off, chatting with friends over phone(discussing old memories and politics), watching television serials and commenting on artist's performance, watching children progressing in their studies, the feeling you get when your dreams become reality.

Loved playing cricket with my friends, but no one knows about this game in Canada.
loved watching old classic Hindi movies, but Cineplex does not display old movies.

Look at life as a fair; we want to enjoy it thoroughly, as we know it will not last longer.

Here I am
Love going to the parks in the summer, taking my children to swim at Rocky Point pool, eating ice cream on a hot sunny day, ( especially chocolate chip mint) playing at the water park until dark and have fish and chips at Pajos Restaurant.
Loved doing all these things when they were younger, but now they are young men.

Loved going shopping until they get tired, but time had changed, the feeling you get when they act responsibly.

Look at life as a book; full of excitement and surprises, but regardless they are all equally important.

Love travelling East of Canada with my family in the early spring, taking pictures of striking scenery on my digital camera, smelling fresh air of the east coast, visiting the house of red-haired Ann in P.E.I, the feeling you get when you find life is valuable to live.

Loved watching soccer games with my elder brother, but he passed away last year.
Loved helping others in the past, but he is stingy now.

Look at life as a daytime dream, he plans to retire to his native land end of this year.

Love browsing TV channels lying back in a recliner, enjoying a cup of hot peppermint tea, sinking into a hot tub (to warm up for a brand new day), discovering a tall pink cloud at the break of dawn, the feeling you get when you wake up early after a long weekend.

Love reading biology books and articles, solving math problems and equations, waking up early in the morning (8:45 am) to go to school and be on time , listening to the news every day to make sure things aren't getting worse back home , the feeling you get when you are away from your country.
Loved spending time with my old friends, but I moved to another country. Loved being in the lab at university, but i am back to school now.

Love playing basketball with my friends at the court, traveling back home (Somewhere in the middle east) to my old friends, walking near the palm beach on a shiny night, living the life with no weights on my shoulders, the feeling you get when you remember home.

Loved eating all types of food, but now my metabolism had slowed down.
Loved staying up at night, but I would rather sleep in peacefully.

I love lying down in bed and having a book right by my side, browsing on YouTube and watching funny videos and laughing nonstop (mostly epic fail videos). I love going to the lake with family, having barbeques and jumping into the water.

I loved going on runs outside. Now I think it’s a lot harder to do (its gets tiring faster) and prefer the gym.
I loved going to high school and being with my friends, now we never have time. We all have our own lives.

Look at life as a sketch; you define your strokes carefully to create a beautiful image.

Love hiking the mountains of Africa smelling the fresh air of high altitude, looking in the valley and having a sense of hope, jogging on streets of Ottawa (as long as possible) somewhere far away, feeling the winter will never end, the sensation you have when you come to a conclusion that things will never be the same.
Loved swimming in summer camp with friends but they are no longer there.
Loved ricing on bicycle for a beautiful ledy but you cannot take her home.

Love browsing alone between glorious shopping centers, tickling my little girl to hear her sweet giggling, tasting traditional foods of different nationalities, gazing the Earth through airplane's window during take-off and soaring, the feeling you get when you achieve a high mark after a challenging course.

Loved doing complicated puzzles, but now I answer my daughter's questions.
Loved chatting with my mother until late at nights, but now my nights are her mornings (we are very far from each other).

Love sitting in the middle of Birch Bay on my boat (only when it’s sunny) watching the waves sparkle like a sea of diamonds, waiting for the crabs to fill my trap, anxiously pulling the trap up out of the sweet salt water, the feeling you get finding a treasure.

Loved snowboarding, but my weak back won’t allow it anymore. Loved going to work in the morning and getting on my machine, but Worksafe said it’s not safe anymore.

Look at life like a roller coaster, always going up and down, but just hold on tight and enjoy the ride.
