Here I Am

Love riding my bicycle hard up the 29th Avenue hill to UBC, smelling sweet sea air on an early Vancouver morning, biting into a fresh Fairmount bagel while strolling in Montreal, diving into a dark lake (as often as possible) while heat lightning flashes in the southern sky, the feeling you get when children find their way in life.

Loved hiking with John off trail in Strathcona Park, but he died many years ago. Loved living in a co-op house, but moved after my son was born.

Look at life as an extraordinary chance; I am lucky to be here.

Love enjoying, life with good health, books with knowledgeable stories, food with excellent taste, walking in central park chatting with my buddies, listening to the music of natural(animals and trees), the feeling you get when all the stress were relieved.

Loved playing video games all day long, but now is the time for fulltime study.Loved to watch TV day to night, but stopped due to sight dropping.

Love going on a road trip full of joy, singing and cheering under the blasting radio, breathing in the scent of nature in the middle of the night (or early morning!), feeling my heart pounding while trekking the trail, the feeling you get when happiness arise inside.

Loved being around my mentors, but now I am sharing my life with others. Loved singing and dancing when I was young, but only the memories are left now.

Love creating things in a crafty way, nurturing the life living in my garden, sharing mochas and conversation with my girlfriend, watching the beautiful birds in the feeder(if they decide to stop by),the feeling you get when your own child tells you for the first time they love you.

Loved going to Night Clubs,to dance the night away,but now I just dance around my house. Loved taking trips to Victoria, to see my grandmother, but now she lives in Heaven.

Love playing the piano during Sunday worship service, cooking a favourite family dish in the late afternoon, dating my hubby (once a month) while our children are with their grandparents, resting after our kids go to bed at night, the feeling you get when the puzzle pieces are solved after hours’ trial.

Loved hanging out with my best friend for hours, but now we hardly find the time to talk with our children. Loved reading my childhood journals but which are gone now.

Love meeting new people and learning about their backgrounds, listening to music, curling up on the couch with a good book, walking slowly when is snowing so I can feel the snow flakes on my face, the feeling of accomplishment I get when I finish a complicated task.

Loved the holiday parties with my family, but now we have grown apart. Loved to dance but I think I have changed (inside), and I don’t like anymore.

Love living in Vancouver all my life (unlike other places I have visited), the many things I enjoy doing indoors and out: if it rains I like to watch movies, if it is sunny I like to go to the beach, if it is snowy I like to go snowboarding, the feeling you get after a great day.

Love enjoying the outdoors when the weather is great, absorbing sunshine for the many benefits it has to offer, looking forward to my next great cycling adventure with my girlfriend, the feeling of getting something accomplished and having done a good job.

Loved my time being with my daughter, but realize that teenagers want their own space. Loved to ride motorcycles, but am no longer allowed (had to trade it in for the aforementioned bicycle).

Love making BBQ chicken near the lake on weekends in summer, taking pictures of nature (insects and flowers only) on my DSLR camera, laying on couch and watching Family Guy show, partying and staying up till late night with friends, the feeling you get when you realize nothing will be same in life.

Loved wrestling with my brother on mattresses, but now he is not weak anymore. Loved racing and driving fast, but speeding tickets changed me.

Love talking warmly with my son, kissing incessantly on my daughters’ cheeks,
listening peacefully to their piano music, enjoying cheerfully all the creative cards
from them, the feeling you get when you are looking at the ripe tomatoes in your

daughters’ hair diligently, but they started to do it themselves last year.

Look at life as a large challenging garden; there are various plans which require
lots of sweaty and tearing hard working, yet attractive flowers and tasty fruits

Love exploring new areas, surfing the wide web of the internet, driving in the fast lane with my adrenaline running, playing video games at every waking moment (especially Battlefield 3 – flying helicopters and driving tanks), the epic feeling you get when a crazy plan comes together.

Love snowboarding on the high mountains covered with white soft snow, jumping off a 30 foot cliff, wanting to push a little harder and get out of control ( to do the craziest tricks) nothing to worry about except for if you fall of the side, the feeling you get when the wind is rushing through your hair.

Loved to watch horror movies, but now prefer comedy instead. Loved to stare at the sunset, but now enjoy watching the stars.

Love all of the seasonal smells with the temperatures all throughout the air, blooming of the flowers in spring, eating burgers in the summer, adjusting casually to the cold that fall and winter brings, and walking through the snowy streets (hopefully not slipping), the feeling you get when all seems to be at peace.

Love watching, wind in my face, sun jumping above the horizon of the sea far away, jogging alone along the seashore in a clear morning, listening classical music in a still summer evening , laughing with friends (hand-in-hand ) until tears film over our eyes, the feeling you get when you stand on the top of the mountain.



Loved the life being simple, but the world is full of uncertainty. Loved rope skipping covered with sweat, but gave away my skipping-rope after I immigrated to Canada.

love listening to music, working out till I’m in a pool of my own sweat, texting tremendously as if I stopped it would be the end of me , helping those in need ( mostly orphans). The feeling you get when you fall in love.
